KOFAM Resources Limited is a startup that is very passionate about the environment and its preservation. We at KOFAM believe that we will make a significant contribution to sustaining our environment by establishing a pyrolysis plant in Ghana, and beyond.
Pyrolysis is a process for converting waste plastic to ultra-low sulphur diesel. The process takes place in the absence of oxygen so all the toxic emissions associated with incinerating plastics are completely eliminated.
KOFAM Resources as a company will be operating in the petroleum sectors of the Ghanaian economy by refining diesel, using plastic waste as feedstock. Our processing plant will be based in Asemasa within the Ahanta West District of the Western Region. The company will serve the Ghanaian and African economies by supplying ultra-low Sulphur diesel processed from plastic waste.
KOFAM Resources intends to expand from its initial operating base in Ghana, into other countries in the West African sub-region and eventually into the wider African community within 5 years of commencing operations, through technology and continuous improvement of its operations and processes.
